Enrico Baleri was born in Albino (Bergamo) in 1942. In the sixties and seventies he designed furniture, lamps and objects for Gavina, Flos, Knoll International and Alias, a company he founded in 1979 and in which, until 1983, he held the role of artistic director . In 1984 with Marilisa Baleri Decimo he founded Baleri Italia and collaborated with Hollein, Mendini and with the newcomers Starck, Dalisi, Wettstein and others to form a single collection. In 1994 he founded Gloria Srl for which he designed some successful products. Since 2004 he has been the art director of eb&c Centro Ricerche Enrico Baleri and carries out activities in the world of communication, architecture and industrial design, collaborating with international industries including Baleri Italia.
